Poor quality vaccine, medicine, pre and probiotic at cluster level.
Rationality
Increase availability of quality vaccine, medicine, reduces antibiotic load on milk and other products. Safe animal health pharmacy will ensure quality vaccination and medications for dairy farmers as well as ensure animal health safety by reducing antibiotic load.
Achievement
We have established 02 safe animal health pharmacy through micro entrepreneur (MEs) under IDF-SEP project till March 2022
High Yielding Fodder Production
Issues
Lack of high yielding fodder cultivation at cluster (Jumbo, Napier, Pakchong etc.) and less milk production.
Rationality
Increase availability of green grasses in a smaller land, round the year availability and opportunity to make bale for using at lean season. To ensure fodder round the year as a source of nutrient for dairy cattle and therefore minimizing feed cost of our micro enterprises.
Achievement
We have established 31 high yielding fodder production plots through micro entrepreneur (MEs) under IDF-SEP project till March 2022
